How This Track Works

Why This Track Exists

These are not freelance gigs. They're learning-oriented build sprints where you'll work closely with me, improve your design skills, and create something real. It's about learning to build software thoughtfully, not just launching products.

We usually build only the initial MVP, not the full product, but still launch so that real users can start using it. The goal is to explore ideas and improve our understanding of design, abstraction, and complexity.

I don't know if any of these projects will ever be launched fully. But if something gains traction and I decide to continue, and have funds, I may hire the most involved contributors as paid freelancers at proper freelance rates.

Until then, this is a mentorship-first track with modest stipends or open-source credit, designed for students who want to level up by working on meaningful real-world software.

Want to Build Your Own Idea?

Bring your own project and get mentorship, structure, and design feedback to turn your idea into a real product. This is a paid track for serious builders.

  • 1:1 Mentorship: Get regular feedback on architecture, modularity, and complexity, and also on product scope, tradeoffs, and what makes a minimal-yet-valuable launch.
  • Idea-to-Launch Mentorship: Learn how to shape your idea, define a minimal version, design the internals carefully, and ship a real product, all while maintaining high code quality and structure.
  • Learning-Led, Not Client-Led: This is not a service to get your startup built. It's a mentorship-driven track where you'll do the work, and I'll guide you to build it thoughtfully.
  • Duration: Projects should be scoped for 4–8 weeks. Longer projects are not accepted.
  • Cost: Based on project scope, complexity and your maturity. Typical range: ₹5,000-₹10,000.
  • Selection: I review each proposal carefully and reserve the right to accept or decline projects based on fit, scope, and learning value.

This track is not included in the stipend-based program. Pricing details will be discussed after proposal submission.
